Our board certified surgeons specialize in the care and treatment of benign and malignant breast disease, all types of hernias, abdominal problems which involve the colon, intestines, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, appendix, thyroid, parathyroid, as well as benign and malignant skin lesions.

A number of the surgeries performed can be done laparoscopically which is a relatively new technique using a small video camera, monitor and customized instruments. The procedure is carried out through several small incisions (rather than one large incision); the results are less pain, a shorter stay in the hospital, quicker recovery, and reduced risk of infection.

While the laparscopic technique might not be appropriate for all patients, it represents one of the many innovative approaches that our surgeons provide for Central Texans.

Our surgeons are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our active patients can reach us at any hour through the Travis County Medical Society medical service bureau.
